The Town of Cohasset, Massachusetts hired Coughlin Design to design Volume III (1950 to 2000) of the town history. We worked closely with the author and production consultant to develop a design consistent with the author’s vision for the book. The completed book is 288 pages long and includes 190 B&W photos and 55 color photos, many of which required retouching. The book also features two digitally designed color maps, custom end leaves and a dust jacket. For this project, the book publisher wanted all the final prepress files presented in PDF format using special distiller settings to their workflow.
